The sunny, expansive Art & Craft’s Studio is a beautiful space to come and express your creativity. Explore your inner artist any time on your own, or take part on of our many classes designed to help you grow your artistic skills and learn new techniques. We’re always hosting new and exciting art classes, craft demonstrations, and much more. The studio also boasts a beautiful crafts kitchen large enough to host a family meal or bake some goodies to take to a pot luck!

Creative expression is a form of communication. Our Original Expressions classes allow residents to learn new skills or practice old ones by taking on new projects to express themselves. These classes promote socialization and allow residents with memory loss to express themselves through art. We have weekly painting groups, sketching groups, woodworking, and other forms of art like singing that residents can take part in.

We have a few well known local artists who live at Origin and participate in our art programs. It truly is a supportive community where our residents and staff work together to support each other. Our quilters group, for example, do special projects like touch quilts for our memory care residents.
