There’s no shortage of entertainment at Origin at Spring Creek. Our residents’ social calendars are always packed with fun things to do. Our highly trained Life Enrichment Coordinators plan and oversee a variety of events, trips, activities, clubs, crafts, and educational programs. We even host a monthly birthday celebration, where one day each month we celebrate everyone who’s having a birthday that month.

Planned social events take place at Origin at Spring Creek as well as other venues in the Bow Valley community like pubs, cafe’s, or in the park. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the great outdoors and the community you love and make new friendships amongst our residents and team members. These events are facilitated by our Life Enrichment Coordinators who assist with engaging conversations. Everyone loves sharing their legacy stories and learning new things about each other at these lively functions.

Mineshaft Tavern is another common gathering place for events and social mixers. Join your friends for happy hour cocktails and delicious appetizers and it’s sure to be a good night. They even have live music events for everyone to enjoy!

The Screening Room at Origin will host hit movies and themed movie nights, as well as special guest speakers for events, seminars, and chapel services. Every day you can catch a documentary, movie, or TV show with some friends.

Board games, Bingo, and card nights like bridge and crib are a fun way to show off your competitive side and keep your mind sharp. We even host regular Spelling Bees, a popular gathering where we often invite our sister communities or the Canmore Senior Association in for some friendly competition.

Origin’s own multi-passenger vehicle is used for group outings and trips so you can explore the town and get a change of scenery every once in a while. It also provides shuttle services to local professional offices for medical and other appointments.
